Chronic Pain – Strategies for Relief and Healing

Wednesday, March 26

1 - 2 PM

Mercer Island Library

4400 88th Ave SE

Did you know that pain is not simply a result of tissue damage or system disfunction in the body?  That DOES NOT mean it is not real.  Anyone who has experienced pain, acute or chronic, KNOWS how real it is.

Pain is complex.  In this one-hour pop-up workshop you will learn about the factors that play into all pain and how to use that knowledge to begin to influence your brain’s control of the pain experience.  You will also explore strategies to interrupt the pain cycle.
